Early in the chapter’s history, scholarships were awarded to deserving students, and the chapter continued to develop a relationship with the awardees after the students had gone to college. Nu Xi Zeta still works tirelessly to identify deserving students and mentor them as they continue their educational careers.
In line with one of our founding principles of finer womanhood, the chapter developed a tradition of holding formal teas at high noon at various upscale tea rooms including the Ritz Carlton and the Four Seasons. This tradition continues today as the chapter frequently holds reclamation teas during our finer womanhood celebration.
After a period of inactivity, Nu Xi Zeta was reactivated in April of 2001. The Women of Nu Xi Zeta are truly diverse and represent a myriad of industries. We hail from the nation’s most competitive universities and colleges across the nation with many either holding or pursuing
advanced degrees.
