February 10, 2010 "Power of the Written Word" Essay Contest
***Please note, the deadline to submit an application for “Power of Written Word” Essay Contest has been extended to February 10, 2010.***
The Alexandria, Virginia Chapter is presenting the 2009-2010 "Power of the Written Word" essay contest with a $1000 scholarship award to the selected high school senior from Alexandria City or Arlington County.
The chapter will be accepting applications postmarked by February 10, 2010. The recipient will be acknowledged at our spring luncheon on Sunday, March 14, 2010. The scholarship award will be disbursed directly to the accredited college or university the winner will be attending in Fall 2010.
