The Shanece Brown LEGACY Scholarship

DESCRIPTION

The H.A.V.E. Foundation is offering a scholarship to be awarded to a relative of a Member or Friend (Amicae) of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. A Member or Friend (Amicae) of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated includes but is not limited to the applicant's mother, aunt, guardian, step-mother, foster mother, cousin, grandmother. Members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Archonette Youth Auxiliary Members are welcome to apply.

AWARD

This scholarship will award $1,000 to one (1) eligible Scholar selected.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • 3.5 minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA), with an official transcript.

  • Graduating high school senior to complete diploma requirements by August 2019.

  • Proof of admission to an accredited 4 year college or university to begin studies in 2019.

  • Be a relative of a Member or Friend (Amicae) of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc or Archonette.

  • 1000 words (min) essay

The Shanece Brown POST GRADUATE Scholarship

DESCRIPTION

The H.A.V.E. Foundation is offering a scholarship to be awarded to an African American woman who is currently pursuing post-graduate studies for a Masters, JD, PhD or other doctorate/post-graduate degree, or will commence such degree program in 2019. 

AWARD

This scholarship will award $500 to one (1) eligible Scholar selected.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Be a female who is African American or of African Descent

  • 3.0 minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) with an official transcript

  • Proof of attendance/admission to a post-graduate degree program, to continue or begin studies in 2019

  • One (1) Letter of Recommendation

  • 500 words (min) essay

The Shanece Brown BOOK Scholarship

DESCRIPTION

The H.A.V.E. Foundation is offering scholarships to a graduating Minority Seniors from a high school in the City of Alexandria and Arlington County, Virginia.

AWARD

This scholarship will award $250 to two(2) eligible Scholars selected.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • A Minority Student.

  • Have a 3.0 minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) with an official transcript.

  • Graduating senior from a high school in the City of Alexandria or Arlington County, who will complete diploma requirements by August 2019.

  • Proof of college or university admission.
