H.A.V.E. Foundation

The Nu Xi Zeta Helping Alexandria Virginia Excel (H.A.V.E.) Foundation was founded in 2010 as the a charitable, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) arm of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Nu Xi Zeta Chapter. Operating exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, the principle activities and purpose of the H.A.V.E. Foundation is to award scholarships to worthy students for the pursuit of higher education and to conduct community educational programs for African American youth ages 10-18 in the City of Alexandria and Arlington County.

It is the mission of the H.A.V.E. Foundation to build youth of character and skill-bound for success, utilizing scholarship and community service.

Specifically, the H.A.V.E. Foundation provides:

Youth technology workshops that are designed to address the underrepresentation of African Americans in STEM professions, with goals to generate interest among African American youth to seek education and careers in the STEM fields; and scholarships for African American high school seniors.

With a strong focus on providing scholarships to deserving students, the H.A.V.E. Foundation is extremely excited to not only announce our new Spirit of Sisterhood renewable scholarship, but also announce our partnership with the Scholarship Fund of Alexandria.
